Mission
ANWC's mission is to promote professional pursuits and good fellowship among its members; to provide a place for members to find helpful assistance and encouragement in their professional development and community endeavors; and to award grants and scholarships to outstanding journalism students and media professionals. Members of ANWC include professionals in journalism, public relations, new media and publishing.

Membership benefits include opportunities to network with professionals at the Club, monthly newsletter Shoptalk, usage of Club office facilities, reduced Club rental rates and more!

• Active Membership
  Active members are individuals currently employed in print, electronic and broadcast news and information, including reporters, writers, editors, photographers and illustrators as well as
  book authors, publishers, public relations practitioners and newsletter producers.
  • Student: (full-time and under 25), $20
  • Level 1: 25 years of age and under, $50
    
  • Level II: 26-36 years of age, $75
    
  • Level III: 37 years of age and over, $140
    
  • Level IV: Retired, $50

  
  

• Affiliate Members
  $165

  Affiliate members are individuals whose professions and interests are allied to the American News Women’s Club.

• Associate Members
  $165

  Associate members are persons, or spouses of persons, who are prominent in the arts, science, education, government, civic affairs, or social services.

• Out of State Members
  $50

Exempt: no Payment Qualifications
Members at least 80 years old who have been ANWC members for 25 years are exempt from dues.
