Congratulations MIMi I wanted to share with you the good news. We had a beautiful baby girl on Dec 29. We named her Sonia Noelle and she weighed 7 lbs even. Once her sleep schedule normalizes a bit, I’ll be back at the Club! See you soon. — Mimi Geerges

ANWC member Donna Shor - I know I am missing some good times, but I am here in SO.East Asia for a month. Bangkok now, where I'm invited to the queen's gala! whee!) Hanoi and Saigon until yesterday, and Cambodia next. Be back Dec 9-11 or so. Murderously hot here, but it is fantastic to see Saigon again after many years. Was here during the war helping war-injured children get medical help. Group had a house here, for the paraplegics. Sunday went to CuChi a couple of hrs from Saigon, where the US Army unknowingly built a huge base over a secret underground city the Viet Cong had built. The VC used their tunnels at night, lifted their well-concealed trap doors and killed many GI's before the army found out how it was that they could get into the camp despite fantastic surveillance. Sunday I crawled through a length of the tunnels, some only a tiny bit wider than I am. That whole tunnel business was an amazing story.Best to all of you. Donna Shor
