"Thank you so much for your care and
thoughtfulness. You helped a busy, bi-costal family have a warm,
relaxed party last Saturday. From beginning to end you were professional,
attentive, and fun to work with. Thanks again"

The
setting for intimate weddings and receptions. An elegant 1906 four-story
townhouse with two floors for gracious entertaining. Our charm and
ambiance create the perfect backdrop for wedding receptions, rehearsal
dinners, anniversaries and birthday parties. The house is located
just off Massachusetts Avenue amidst Embassy Row. The interior is
lavishly designed with period antiques and built-in bookshelves.
Walking through the house, you experience a taste of richness and
warmth.
The
beautiful staircase with wooden handrails leads you to the second
floor entertaining space. This floor boasts three adjoining rooms
with hardwood floors, wood crown moldings, three fireplaces with
tastefully designed hearths and mantels and three beautifully
crafted balconies with French doors. The house is very spacious
with 10" ceilings allowing for a lot of natural sunlight. The
J. H. Cranford house was customed designed by one of the leading
architects of the nineteenth century.
From
the classic exterior to the magnificent inside, this house is truly
a work of art.
