On June 21, 2013 at the National Press Club more than 250 members and friends of the ANWC gathered to honor Barbara Walters, recipient of the ANWC's excellence in journalism award for 2013. On hand, besides Co-Chairs, Claire Swift also President of the ANWC and Ginny Daly were Ted Koppel, Sally Quinn, Bob Schieffer, Howard Kurtz, Senator John Warner, Alan Greenspan, Lady Westmacott and many more friends and supporters of the ANWC. Three 2013 scholarship winners for were on hand to receive their awards from Barbara Walters herself. Thanks to all who came and supported the advancement of excellence in journalism.
